Cajun Dance Lessons & the Dancers

All of The Cajun Dance Company dancers are professional Cajun dance instructors.  We have taught and performed throughout the United States.  Check our references page.

Members of the Baton Rouge LA Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association, the dancers bring with them enthusiasm for and devotion to Cajun culture and it's art.

The Cajun Dance Company has been a member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau for eleven years.

Louisiana Cajun Music, perhaps more than any other folk music, is meant to be danced to.  Everything about the evolution of it's forms and style is intertwined with dancing.  The Cajun Dance Company, formerly, La Compagnie De Danse Acadienne De La Novelle Orléans, was formed to nurture and celebrate the lively and rich tradition of this music and dance.

Karen and Jim

My dance partner, Karen Booth, has taught Cajun dancing with me for the last 15 years.

David & Lynda Stockinger

David and Lynda operate the Baton Rouge office of the Cajun Dance Co.  They have been members for many years and are active in community and church activities.

Harold and Elva Daigle.

Harold and Elva are old family Louisiana Cajuns.  The are fluent in the language and are excellent dance instructors.  They are the chair persons of the Baton Rouge CFMA dance team that  regularly performs  at nursing homes and community service programs.

Ben and Lisa Brannan

Ben and Lisa are one of our younger couples who bring new energy and enthusiasm to our group.
